ABOUT THE TEAM
Club success is measured by Premierships. To accomplish this we must be pro-active our and focused. But we also must look to the future, and that future is firmly in our link to the Bentleigh Junior Football Club where we have an unprecedented amount of players aged between 17 and 20 coming through the Bentleigh football ranks.
The talent within that playing group is the future of this Club and combined with the current crop of senior players puts us in an unbelievably exciting position to build immediate and sustained success.

ABOUT THE TEAM
The Bentleigh footy club under 19s programs aims to be the most prepared team through a implementing a training program which tests players based on a number of game situations, all are which they will encounter through the course of theseason. Our training program is based on game sense training and small sided games which are designed to simulate pressure, fatigue and allow players to develop their decision making skills by reading cues as opposed to being told how to play. All players are encouraged to be conscious of the skills they acquire through training and think how they are transferable to the teams game plan. Each player is encouraged to be themselves and let their unique game and social skill set play apart in the overall success of the team. The under 19’s team is supported by a strong coaching structure which is made up of individual line coaches, rehab coaches and club support to enable all boys to become the best player and team mate they so wish to be.
