Tara’s run for blue

On the 22nd of April 2020, Victoria Police lost four dedicated and hard working Police members in the line of duty after a tragic accident on the Eastern Freeway in Kew, Victoria.

Whilst I didn’t personally know any of these four hero’s, as a current serving member I was deeply impacted by the loss of four of our own.

I have signed up to complete Run4Blue - committing to run throughout the month of May to raise money for Victoria Police Legacy. I had planned to run 50 kilometres prior to the tragic events of Wednesday evening.

For the month of May I will be running 159.485 kilometres.

Each number represents the total of each of the fallen members’ police ID numbers combined.

27.417km for Leading Senior Constable Lynette Taylor

40.942km for Senior Constable Kevin King

45.438km for Constable Joshua Prestney

45.688km for Constable Glen Humphris

Victoria Police Legacy supports the families of our fallen heroes but no amount of money is worth anyone’s life. Please help me help them by giving whatever you can using this link: https://give.everydayhero.com/au/tara-runs-159-485/wizard/share

The more people that know about Victoria Police Legacy, the greater their impact, so please also spread the word by sharing my page with your friends and family. Thank you in advance for your generosity 💙💙💙

My goal is to raise $1000 for their families.
