BJFC is looking for Ground Managers to assist with managing game day operations during the 10 round Junior season, plus a finals day.
I have attached a position description and other documents of relevance .
However, it is essentially a customer care role (spectators being customer) and non – confrontational but will require a level of assertiveness and strong degree of responsibility and punctuality. We don’t have much trouble at junior games but we do require spectators and even officials to be reminded of behaviour on occasion.
The role will have variable hours on a Sunday commencing around 7.30-8.00am with length of service subject to the number of games fixtured. E.g. If we have 5 games at King George it could be from 7.30am -1.00pm. If we have 3 games at Bentleigh Reserve is could be 8.00am-3.30pm. The role will be available as long as the season lasts.
We are paying $22.00/hour flat rate
We are preferably looking for people who have been made unemployed or temporarily out of work and love their sport and understand junior sporting environments.
The role can be shared in alternate weekends if two people are thinking about doing it.
WWWC and Covid training are mandatory and must be obtained before commencing.
