Girl's kick off training at BJFC

The Bentleigh Junior Football Club Girls Meet and Greet day was a fantastic opportunity for the new coaches to meet former and prospective players. On the hot day the turnout was fantastic, with many players coming down for what was a light training session and fun game played against the coaches and other volunteers to finish off, where the girls showed exceptional skills for their first kick after the break.

With Bentleigh seniors well represented, coaches Declan Reeve from the Under Nineteens team and his assistant coach Julia Ferdinands from the senior women's team are taking charge of the under 16 girls team and Catherine Martin is coaching the under 14 girls. Sarah Radlow and Lily Fitzpatrick who are also from our senior women's team went down for a kick to support the girls on this hot day.

Afterwards they were all rewarded with a few water balloons to throw at the coaches and each other to help cool off, while enjoying the BBQ and refreshments provided

Our establishment offers a welcome respite from the busy Centre Rd of Bentleigh. Named as Sub-Branch of the year 2013, against many strong contenders, our establishment upholds the values ingrained in the RSL culture as well as those virtues exhibited by many members during service for our country.
