DIZZY SMITH CUP
EMERGENCY SERVICES
Charity Match
Dizzy Smith Cup - men’s game between MFB/CFA and Victoria Police
Emergency Services Cup between MFB/CFA, Victoria Police and Ambulance Victoria.
The day starts with the men's game between the MFB/CFA and Victoria Police at 12pm.
Following that at 2:15pm the Emergency Services women's game consisting of teams from Victoria Police, Ambulance Victoria and the MFB/CFA.
Both the games will be played at Benteigh Recreation Reserve, Arthur St Bentleigh. Will be a cracker of a day!!

This game is a great opportunity for emergency responders from all agencies to come together and help support the community they work so hard to protect.
The first ever women’s match was a historical occasion for the state’s emergency services and we know it will go from strength-to-strength as the teams mature in years to come.
MFB has a proud tradition of digging deep to support the community and we have no doubt a bit of friendly rivalry between the services will go a long way.

“We have raised more than $100,000 for various charities since the competition began in 2002 and we hope to strengthen this tradition with the first ever women’s game this year,”

Bentleigh would like to acknowledge the work of all Emergency Services organisations, these people do incredible work each and every day in protecting the community.
The Emergency Services Match provides an opportunity to raise funds for their selected charity.Throughout bushfires, torrential storms and a global pandemic – we’ve seen the incredible work that our emergency service volunteers do every day to serve and support their communities. This match is a great opportunity to celebrate their ongoing dedication and thank them for all they do.”
